Dierdre Mangan, L.Ac., LMT

Dierdre Mangan, L.Ac., LMT, is an acupuncturist, herbal medicine practitioner, and massage therapist at Bumblebee AcuTherapy in Lakewood, Colorado. She provides individualized care informed by her clinical training, Japanese-style acupuncture study, and experience as a parent and active Colorado resident.

Education and credentials

Dierdre graduated from the Colorado School of Chinese Medicine after more than 3,045 hours of training and completed graduate study in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She is nationally board certified, trained in Chinese herbal medicine, and certified in Clean Needle Technique.

Before studying acupuncture, Dierdre earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Allegheny College and trained in massage therapy at the Swedish Institute in New York City. Her path into acupuncture grew from accompanying her mother to treatment during cancer care.

Dierdre’s approach to care

Dierdre joined Maya’s clinic as a clinical assistant in 2021 and has continued developing Japanese-style acupuncture and pediatric techniques through ShinKyu University. Her sessions emphasize listening, comfort, realistic expectations, and coordination with medical professionals when needed.
