Heather “Maya” Suzuki, L.Ac., is the owner of Bumblebee AcuTherapy and a Japanese-trained acupuncture and moxibustion practitioner in Lakewood, Colorado. Her work emphasizes gentle technique, palpation, individualized care, and clear communication with adults, parents, and children.
Training and experience
Maya lived and worked in Japan for more than 10 years. She apprenticed and practiced at Acura Acupuncture Clinic in Tokyo, studied at Toyo Shinkyu Senmon Gakko, and trained in acupuncture and moxibustion.
She has studied within Iyashi No Michi Kyokai and Tanioka Daishiryu-style pediatric acupuncture traditions. She attained dual licensure in Japan and the United States in 2015, as described in the clinic’s team biography.
